Flight 1057 was headed to Pittsburgh from New York’s JFK Airport and was scheduled to land at 11:20 p.m. But a few minutes before landing, the flight crew called the Federal Aviation Administration with a Level 2 emergency.
A local mother and son could face up to a year in jail for illegally dumping a massive mound of trash. Ralph and Joan Unis, owners of Unis Demolition in Aliquippa, are charged with illegal dumping. Investigators say the Unises have dumped enough junk and debris to fill three football fields. Now the trash is sliding down a hillside toward a church.
